I have at least 5 other Jade Summer books and like all of them. However, I have an issue with the paper in this book. I had to use a blender pencil to smooth out the colors which I have not had to do in the other books. (I haven't yet used solvents like Gamsol for blending.) Before using the blender pencil, the dark colors in particular didn't look very good because the paper was showing through the color. While this can be an issue in books with cheaper thin paper, I haven't had this issue with the other Jade summer books that I have. I use 3 different brands of pencils and it happened with all of them. I got quite frustrated with this issue so coloring wasn't relaxing. Thus I decided to donate this book to Good Will. I hope someone will be able to enjoy it.
