Titian’s style became more restrained and less adventurous with color and composition.§ Titian was commissioned to paint Charles V of Spain and his son, Philip II. He also completed a seven piece mythological series for the King.§ Titian’s assistants were his brother Francesco Vecellio, his son Orazio, and his cousin, Cesare.NOTABLE WORKS:Assumption of the Virgin, Pesaros Madonna, The Death of St Peter Martyr and Venus of Urbino.
